Sam Cohen, PA-C graduated from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2012.   In 2013, he began specializing in dermatology, working initially in the greater Boston area. 


Mr. Cohen joined CDMS in November 2019. 

He has experience with the dermatologic needs of patients of all ages, as well as particular interest in skin cancer prevention, detection and management.  He is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.


Sam resides in Maine with his wife, three young children and their dog.  Outside of work, Sam enjoys spending time with family, traveling, cooking, biking and sailing.

Kim Metcalf, FNP-C

Wound Care Specialist – Rockport Office

Kim Metcalf is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Certified Wound and Ostomy Nurse with over 27 years of nursing experience, the majority of which has been devoted to wound care. For the past 10 years, she has held national certification in wound and ostomy care and is passionate about helping patients heal comfortably and effectively.


Kim earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Maine in Orono and completed her Master of Science in Nursing at Husson University. Her deep clinical expertise and compassionate approach make her a trusted provider for patients with complex and chronic wounds.



Kim is currently accepting new patients at our Rockport office, where she provides advanced wound care treatment Wednesday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
